Hon. Bulodisiye Ndiwari, the Local Government Chairman, fulfilled his commitment to reward the two Yenagoa City teams that participated in this year's Prosperity Cup Local Government Area (LGA) finals. Previously, he had pledged ?300,000 for the winner of the Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) versus Afini FC match and ?150,000 for the runner-up.

The Prosperity Cup "Season 6" aims to uncover hidden talents in Bayelsa State and provide opportunities for youth, attracting both local and international football scouts. The State Government is collaborating with Tristone Agency, OTP Finland, and Red Sapphire for this initiative.

Named the "5th Governor Douye Diri International Scouting Tournament and Coaching Clinic," the tournament will offer some participating youths the chance to travel abroad and advance their football careers. This initiative highlights the State Government's dedication to nurturing young talent and providing them with platforms to achieve their dreams.

Hon. Ndiwari's gesture not only celebrates the success of the local teams but also reinforces the importance of supporting youth sports development in the community.
